Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu Physiotherapist Jobs in Kenya; Reporting to the Manager – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the successful candidate will work with patients to identify and improve their movement and function. Actively contribute as a member of the hospital’s healthcare team while supporting rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Rehabilitation

  • Evaluate patients to identify their needs.

  • Determine appropriate treatment programmes.

  • Execute treatment using physiotherapy modalities and techniques.

  • Meet patient rehabilitation needs effectively.

  • Conduct daily assessments of patient progress.

  • Monitor patient relief and level of functionality.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Education
  • Minimum Diploma in Physiotherapy from KMTC or other recognized institution.

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or Higher Diploma in a specialty area is an added advantage.

    Professional Registration
  • Must be registered and licensed by the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya.

    Experience
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a busy health facility.

    Skills & Competencies
  • Working knowledge of Hospital Management Information Systems.

  • Excellent public relations skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
