Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu Occupational Therapist Jobs in Kenya; Work with patients to develop, recover, or maintain daily living activities and work skills for individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions. Actively contribute as a member of the hospital’s healthcare team while maintaining excellent public relations.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Intervention

  • Assess client performance to support engagement in occupations affecting health, well‑being, and quality of life.

  • Apply interventions to maximize safety and independence in daily living activities.

  • Teach clients new approaches to tasks and break down activities into achievable components.

  • Recommend, fabricate, and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment.

    Clinical Support & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide holistic care.

  • Support rehabilitation programs and contribute to patient recovery plans.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Education
  • Minimum Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy is an added advantage.

    Professional Registration
  • Must be registered with KOTA (Kenya Occupational Therapist Association).

    Experience
  • At least 1 year of work experience after internship.

    Skills & Competencies
  • Training in rehabilitation areas is an added advantage.

  • Working knowledge of Hospital Management Information Systems.

  • Computer literacy.
