Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu Medical Officer Jobs in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and manage cases.

  • Perform investigative and therapeutic procedures.

  • Conduct minor surgeries.

  • Re‑assess, follow up, and refer patients as necessary.

  • Comply with hospital confidentiality and privacy policies.

  • Manage daily operations of the medical centre to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.

  • Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Head of Outreach.

  • Address and resolve patient complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and safety.

    Requirements

  • M.B.Ch.B or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

  • Registered and licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

  • Competency in administration and emergency procedures (e.g., ACLS, ATLS) an added advantage.

  • Excellent public relations and communication skills.
