Background and Rationale for the Assignment
The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) brings together human, financial and technical resources to address some of the challenges faced by the poorest and most marginalized communities in the world.
Special emphasis is placed on investing in human potential, expanding opportunity and improving the overall quality of life, especially for women and girls.
Foundations for Education and Empowerment (F4EE) is a new partnership between Government of Canada and AKF that will improve educational systems at the pre-primary and primary level, in addition to strengthening women’s empowerment and gender equality. F4EE is active in five countries: Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Tanzania and Uganda.
AKF under the F4EE is putting in place a data and records managements systems that will support and ensure all the project data and information is storage in one place for easy accessibility and usability.
To this end, F4EE needs the services of a resource persons to work with the MERL team in Uganda to design and deploy a reporting form that will be used by the team for reporting in project activities. This form will be developed in Kobo or any other software that should be integrated with the platform already developed.
Objective of the Assignment
The aim of this assignment is to support the MERL team in East Africa to design and deploy an online and offline activity reporting system platform in Kobo. This system/platform will complement and expand the already designed system for F4EE.
