Introduction

The Aga Khan Education Service, Kenya (AKESK) operates 11 schools in various cities in Kenya and provides nursery to senior secondary education in both the national and international curricula. It is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a group of private development agencies working to improve living conditions and opportunities for people of all faiths and origins in specific regions of the developing world. AKESK is looking to hire qualified Teachers for Aga Khan High School Mombasa in the following subjects: • Arabic/IRE • French and any other KCSE Subject • Trained School Counsellor

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivery of curriculum of the assigned class / subject while ensuring high quality of learning, classroom management and delivery of other related duties in a timely and professional manner.

Actively participate in promoting an enabling environment for students and staff and a positive image of the school.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd.)

3 years of teaching experience.

Teacher Service Commission certificate - TSC

Proven consistency in class work performance

Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty members, students, parents and staff.
