Client Responsibility

To provide a good and calm environment that allows cleaning to be carried out.

To ensure Health & Safety practices are adhered to so that cleaning staff are safe.

To notify the company in case of special requirements outside the scope with a lead time of 48 hours.

Supply of washroom Consumables i.e. hand wash soap, hand paper towels, Tissue papers and air Fresheners

To discuss any changes in the shifts & SOP
Inclusions

The cleaning company is going to take charge of providing the following as per the contract

• Anti-bacterial soap (liquid)

• Disinfection liquid

• Liquid bleach

• Buckets and cleaning materials

• Gloves

• Dustpan

• Plastic bags for waste disposal & collection

• Drums at the garbage room

• Pressure wash machine

• Wet & Dry machine-for carpets

• Calcium / sodium hypochlorite

• Mist blower upon request

• Liquid soap for washing of glass panes

• Other relevant tools to carry out the tasks

• Cover the cost of food handlers certificate, COVID-19 tests for staff working in the Catering area or as required

• Training on COVID-19 prevention measures & hygiene

Feedback and Monitoring

Weekly Audits carried out by client representative and cleaning company representative and Scorecard

Duly filled and submitted to cleaning company.

Exclusions

The following are excluded in the cleaning contract

• Fridges, Microwaves, Ovens

• Laboratories counter surfaces or operational sinks. Only wash hand basins, floors and rubbish

• Computers

• Inside lockers & personal equipment.

• Inside cupboards unless requested upon by the occupants and should be done in their presence
Non-Compliance: In case of non-compliance by the contractor in line with the service level herein, the Authority reserves the right to terminate contract as per the exit clause.

Service Scope and Specification Ceramic or
Porcelain Floor

Do not use any kind of abrasive cleaner on ceramic floors as it will scratch the glaze.

Use a damp mop and a neutral purpose floor cleaner to clean the floor.

Report faulty for all grout

lines.

Clean the grout lines thoroughly before sealing in order for the sealer to hold properly.

Make sure that the mop is damp and not dripping wet.

Marble Floor Avoid using acidic product, as it will peel off quickly.

Use multipurpose cleaning liquid only.

Vinyl Floor Wash the floor always using a neutral floor cleaner.

Never scour or pour water on the floor, as it will loosen the adhesive and cause the vinyl to detach from the surface below.

Make sure that the mop is damp and not dripping wet

Terrazzo Floor Clean the floors thoroughly with a neutral purpose cleaner.

Use a neutral floor cleaner and water when cleaning

Mop the floor with a damp mop.

Brick Floor Brick floors are porous.

Use a damp mop to get rid of dirt.

Using a sealer that is made for brick is best, wither it’s a solvent based or water based.

Never use abrasives, strong soaps, or acids to clean brick floor as it can get damaged.

Clean the floors thoroughly with a neutral multipurpose cleaner.

Concrete Floor Concrete floors are porous and tend to absorb stains rather quickly.

Wash the floor using an all-purpose cleaning agent.

Wood Floor Use solvent-based cleaners and polish to maintain the floor.

Never use water on wood floor unless it has been treated with polyurethane.

First, vacuum the floor to get rid of loose debris and dirt.

If the wooden floor has been treated with polyurethane, you can use a damp mop to clean the surface.
