Extended Essay Coordinator Reports to: Principal Senior School.

Job Summary: Extended Essay Coordinator is a pedagogical leader whose role is to implement and manage the Extended Essay research and writing process. .

Job Responsibilities:

Set the tone for how the Extended Essay is undertaken and how students and supervisors engage with the process

Support the introduction and use of the Researcher's reflection space as an integral part of the Extended Essay process

Provide appropriate training and ongoing support supervisors

Ensure that policies such as the academic honesty policy are fully embedded into the preparation

of students for the Extended Essay

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor of Education

Must be IB certified Extended Essay Coordinator, Workshop Leader and Examiner.

2 years' IB MYP/DP teaching experience or international curriculum experience

Ability to bolster academic attainment at the MYP & DP
