Aga Khan Academy Academy Fellows Jobs in Kenya;The Academy Fellow will serve the student residential programme as a Residential Parent, promoting community life and supporting students academically and socially. Fellows will engage with classes for tutoring, deliver the Service‑Learning Programme, mentor residential students, and contribute to co‑curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide residential support as a Residential Parent, mentoring students academically and socially.

  • Support classes with tutoring (approx. 10 hours weekly), especially in Maths, Science, and English as an Additional Language.

  • Develop and deliver the Service‑Learning Programme for Years 6‑10 (approx. 10 hours weekly).

  • Supervise residential students, including twice weekly duties and one weekend in three.

  • Contribute to co‑curricular programmes (sports, music, clubs, SAT prep, debating, MUN, TedX, etc.).

  • Chaperone off‑campus residential and day trips, including visits to places of worship.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic achievement and diverse interests.

  • Significant involvement in residential life, student leadership, music, athletics, or community service during university.

  • Genuine interest in and commitment to the mission of Aga Khan Academies.

  • Experience working with young people or mentoring peers.

  • Proactive self‑starter, comfortable working autonomously.

  • Openness to new experiences, cultures, and learning.
