Synopsis

  • We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse at our Noordhoek Manor facility to provide high quality care to our residents.

    Description

    Duties include but is not limited to the following:

  • Handover

  • Staff Allocation and management

  • Medication

  • MDT and Interaction with professional

  • Resident Admissions and discharges

  • Step Down and Clinical

  • Catering

  • Clinical Tasks

  • Administration & Reporting

  • Emergencies

    Requirements

    Qualifications

  • Senior certificate and SANC registered as Enrolled Nurse

    Experience and Knowledge

  • 2-3 years experience in frailcare, dementia care, palliative care, strokes.

    Skills and Attributes

  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, managerial skills, making sound decisions, computer literate, professional, focused, fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, well spoken, neat, compassion for the elderly, be able to converse with people on different levels - staff, families, MDT and other professionals coming into the facility.
