Synopsis

  • To provide marketing, sales and customer relationship management support to the Head of Commercial & Marketing in order to increase sales and volumes.

    Description

    Marketing support and coordination

  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.

  • Support management with the execution of in country marketing plans.

  • Ensure that all “Point of Sale” and promotional marketing material conform to the brand identity requirements of each specific brand as well as market development objectives.

  • Coordinate all shipments of Point of Sales (POS) and marketing materials in collaboration with the logistics department.

  • Monitor budgets to track expenditure on a monthly basis.

  • Manage execution of promotions according to plans/briefs.

  • Co-ordinate all brand building activities with in-market partners under the guidance of the Relationship Manager.

  • Manage corporate identity guidelines and product brand guidelines to use in marketing campaigns (in conjunction with creative agencies).

  • Monitor work produced by agencies for creativity, appropriateness, accuracy, reaching of deadlines and cost effectiveness.

    Sales support, tracking and coordination

  • Follow up on sales leads, and schedule meetings and sales appointments on behalf of the Relationship manager.

  • Manage sales tracking tools and compile reports as required.

  • Perform data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintain an organised and accessible filing system.

    General administrative support and coordination

  • Provide administrative related support to all senior management in the Commercial and Marketing Department.

  • Co-ordinate and keep track/log of trademarks
    in different countries, when required.

  • Coordination of all international marketing related events.

  • Manage and coordinate the sample process.

  • Assist and support with arrangements of visitors, shows and events.

  • Coordinate and manage senior management claims.

  • Resolve queries and complaints.

  • Build relationships with in-market agents.

  • Prepare reports as required (sales reports; out of office claims; etc)

    Minimum Requirement

  • Grade 12

    Preferred

  • Diploma or any other tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration

    Minimum Requirement

  • Experience in a marketing and sales or customer service – related role.

  • Proficiency in MS Office at intermediate level.

    Preferred

  • Working knowledge of SAPJR1 .

    Skills and Experience

  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication with all stake holders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to express themselves credibly to clients over the phone/via email.

  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and be able to handle pressure.

  • Effective time management skills (planning, organising and prioritising).

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement.

  • Responsible, self-disciplined, reliable, and systematic.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Maintain composure during conflict with outside business partners.
