African Parks Pilot Jobs in South Sudan; We are looking for an experienced line pilot to work in a challenging and remote area. This role requires the incumbent to perform pre- and post-flight planning, inspections, fuel management, equipment and navigational systems management, and operate aircraft safely at all times while serving as a bush pilot.
Responsibilities Safely carry out all flights required by project operations
Take responsibility for the safety and operations of all aerial and ground activities
Manage fuel stocks, refueling, aircraft support, helipads, runways, and hangars
Assist with servicing, maintenance, and continued airworthiness of aircraft, respecting maintenance schedules and supporting engineers on site
Perform daily refueling, cleaning, and continued care of aircraft; manage equipment, parts, and stock control
Maintain flight folio/logbook, spreadsheets, and online operations management system
Serve as relief pilot on other aircraft as required for regional aerial support
Support project operations when not flying (logistics, administration, IT, training, sourcing materials, etc.)
Carry out other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor
Be prepared to obtain FAA validation and complete Rotax line maintenance engine course

Qualifications
Required licenses issued by the applicable Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA)
Ratings on C206, C182, and Savannah aircraft required
FAA fixed wing licence an advantage
Valid Class 1 medical certificate
Minimum of 700 hours PIC flight time
Rotax engine experience / mechanical aptitude beneficial
Experience in bush flying an asset
Willingness to be based in a remote area with minimal infrastructure and support
Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills in English
Strong initiative, perseverance, and resilience
Strong personal integrity and dependability
Good team player with experience working with multicultural teams
Knowledge and passion for conservation and wildlife essential
