Description of Job Task and Responsibilities
Responsible for administering the Contractor’s Medical and Dental Plan.
Basic Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – KSAs)
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to professionally and tactfully convey information to individuals regarding sensitive and confidential issues.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
Must possess excellent administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have good oral and written communication skills which enable effective liaison with clients, other departments within the organization, subcontractors, and clients, and report directly to Senior Management.
Must have a valid and be able to obtain Non‑Pro or Professional driver’s license.
Job Specifications – Special Certifications or Training
Must have successfully completed Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Training from American Red Cross or equivalent provider (highly desired).
Must have current and valid PRC license as a Physician/Medical Officer.
TCN Health Care Providers (HCPs) will be required to participate in annual Continued Medical Education (CME) training commensurate with their profession (physicians/doctors and nurses).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in any “Pre‑Med” courses (Biology, Nursing, Psychology, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Public Health, Physical Therapy) or other related Biological and Allied sciences, based on a four‑year course of study from accredited college or university or equivalent institution.
Must be a graduate of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from accredited college or university or equivalent institution.
Experience
At least two (2) years of experience after completion of residency in general medicine or family practice.
No confirmed record of malpractice or professional disciplinary action from a recognized professional society.
Basic Terms of the Job Offer
Assignment Duration: 12 months. Renewal subject to performance.
Base Monthly Salary: $3250.00
(based on 48‑hour work week requirement).
Working Schedule: 48 hours per week (8 hours per day / 6 days a week).
Payroll Period: Monthly. Overtime paid at base salary rate for work beyond 8 hours per day or on rest days/holidays.
Accommodations: Housing, transportation, meals in‑country, and laundry facilities provided.
Sick Leave: Employee accrues 2.67 hours of sick leave for each full month of service, beginning after the first full month of Foreign Service employment.
Annual Leave: Up to 21 days paid at the end of each 12‑month contract.
Travel: Employer provides travel to employee’s home country.
Project Holidays: 10 paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, President’s Day, Philippine Independence Day, USA Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
Other Requirements
Passport valid for at least 12 months, with at least 6 total blank visa pages remaining.
Updated COVID‑19 and yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Medical screening at a date to be advised.
