Africa Management Solutions HR and Recruitment Consultant Jobs in Kenya


We are currently seeking to recruit a well-qualified person to fill the position of a HR and Recruitment consultant.

Job Purpose

The consultant is tasked with attracting candidates and matching them to a wide range of job positions, varying from entry-level roles to directors and executives.

The consultant liaises with client companies, and build relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements.

Drafts job advertising content for use in a wide range of web and social platforms.
Involved in attracting candidates through networking, headhunting and referrals.
Screen job candidates, conduct interviews, perform background checks, and eventually match candidates to their client companies.

Provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment;
  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies;
  • Build relationships with clients;
    Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media (e.g., newspapers, websites, magazines);
  • Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates;
  • Completing a search of the candidate database to find the right person for the employer’s vacancy;
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidates;
  • Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the employer;
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question;
  • Preparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants;
  • Organizing interviews for candidate as requested by the client;
    Informing candidates about the results of their interviews;
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates.
  • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
  • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in HR – practice.
  • Previous experience as a recruiter will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
    Honest, high integrity and transparent.

    Our client is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help them meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. You will also be responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.

    Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a
    strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual sales people and set individual sales targets with sales team.
  • Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel and oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
  • liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
    assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
  • Co-ordinate and monitor online sales activity
  • Investigate lost sales and customer accounts track, collate and interpret sales figures
  • Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
  • Generate timely sales reports
    develop pricing schedules and rates
  • Formulate sales policies and procedures
    help prepare budgets
  • Control expenses and monitor budgets
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
  • Analyze data to identify sales opportunities
  • Develop promotional ideas and material
    attend trade meetings and industry conventions
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management
  • knowledge of market research
    experience in managing and directing a sales team
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
    technical sales skills
  • Computer Literacy is a must
