    Our Client is a Flower Shop that sells a wide variety of fresh-cut flowers, mixed bouquets and potted plants. They are seeing to hire a well experienced Administration & Client Service Assistant who will be tasked with handling the day-to-day office operations and providing excellent customer service.

    Administration & Client Service Job Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor the finance system to ensure finances are maintained in an accurate, timely and confidential manner and that cash-flow is effectively managed.
  • Assist with preparation of the company budget and manage the operations within this budget
  • Implement financial policies and procedures as per the company handbook and ensure adherence, particularly in regard to petty cash.
  • Ensure that the clients have paid for services or products delivered and that the client/order database is kept up to date.
  • Handling petty cash and ensuring the invoices are prepared at the right time and delivered at the right time.
  • Ensure delivery notes are properly written, delivered to customers and copies filed.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly or on demand financial reports to the Managing Director and assist in the preparation of the annual report.
  • Ensure compliance with the legal requirements such as all employees having all the statutory documents (NSSF, NHIF, and PIN) and file copies in their personal files.
  • Work with the team to find ways of improving existing products and services
  • Welcome customers and help them with selection of the products they require as needed

  • Oversee quality checks and assurance of service and product delivery

    Qualifications for the Administration & Client Service Job

  • A Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline OR a relevant qualification such as
  • Accounting or project management
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of current trends in the floriculture and event management business in Kenya is an added advantage
  • Takes initiative and actively seeks strategies to make the business better and more profitable while being the employer of choice.
  • A high level of Integrity and commitment
    Able to provide vision and leadership and manage others.
  • Good problem solving skills
    Attention to detail and highly organized with good time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
