The Sales Manager reports to Chief Sales Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for development and implementation of sales strategies to enhance the achievement of company’s overall strategic objectives. You will drive the achievement of budgeted turnover through monitoring of sales opportunities, developing plans that respond to those opportunities and drive sales activities.

Our Client, Kenya's newest printing business is the first of its kind having been formed through a merger of several well-established leading printing companies. Once launched, the Company will offer clients - both existing and new - a full-range of off-set, digital, large format printing as well as branded promotional items. They are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager.


  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans to achieve profitability. Roll out sales strategies and carry out forecasting and budgeting resulting to achievement of targets.
  • Develop and manage a competent sales team through recruitment and implementation of effective talent management programs to achieve superior representation against competition
  • Maintain contact with customers in the market, to ensure high levels of visibility and client satisfaction and present persuasive approaches to potential clients.
  • Use an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Oversee timely preparation of tender documents, quotations, proposal presentations to enhance business development efforts
  • Prepare reports and interpret the data on sales,
    revenue, expenses and business performance to be presented to management team for decision making.
  • Monitor day to day sales activities and provide insights to the team and management on improvement
  • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and document customer interactions
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team for decision making


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or related field
  • Professional qualification in the sales and marketing field
  • At least five (5) years sales management experience; two (2) of which are in the printing industry
  • A go-getter, enthusiastic, results oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication and social skills
  • Business acumen, strategic thinker with ability to make sound decisions for the business
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills
  • Detail oriented and analytical individual
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity
