Our Client, Kenya's newest printing business is the first of its kind having been formed through a merger of several well-established leading printing companies. Once launched, the Company will offer clients - both existing and new - a full-range of off-set, digital, large format printing as well as branded promotional items. They are seeking to recruit a Sales Executive.

The Sales Executive reports to the Sales Manager. The incumbent will be tasked with promoting, selling, securing orders from existing and prospective customers in line with agreed set targets and ensuring client satisfaction and retention for increased profits.

Responsibilities

Pursue business opportunities by understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs

Secure new orders from prospective customers and from existing clients; additionally provide professional advice best suited to their needs in order to ensure repeat sales.

Work closely with the Estimator to ensure that pricing structures are competitive and ensure profitability

Identify new sales leads / market opportunities through conducting research of the current market trends and taking advantage of existing networks.

Handle all requests for a quotation within the stipulated timelines barring exceptional circumstances and working closely with the pre-press and production team to ensure on-time delivery

Work with the Sales Manager to ensure timely preparation of tender documents,

quotations, proposal presentations

Promptly deal with all customer complaints and follow up to ensure their issues have been resolves satisfactorily

Provide exemplary service to all clients in order to ensure repeat sales through client satisfaction

Prepare weekly sales plans and submit comprehensive reports based on stipulated timelines as per the requirements of Management

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in sales, two (2) of which must be in the printing industry;

Detail oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills

Good market research skills and conversant with the market trends within the printing industry;

Strong planning and organizational skills with excellent sales and relationship building abilities;

Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
