Adept Systems Innovation and Technical Manager Jobs in Kenya



Our Client, Kenya's newest printing business is the first of its kind having been formed through a merger of several well-established leading printing companies. Once launched, the Company will offer clients - both existing and new - a full-range of off-set, digital, large format printing as well as branded promotional items. They are seeking to recruit an Innovation and Technical Manager.


The Innovation and Technical Manager will report to the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for leading innovation focusing on creating opportunities for various business aspects, such as cost reduction, customer relations, technological advancement and marketing.


Responsibilities


  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of service delivery and client satisfaction, applicable to technical services;
  • Develop client relationships where applicable to support and improve the order fulfilment process and strengthen the general business offer and position;
  • Participate in the development of initiatives that may consist of a variety of innovation challenges including brand-led innovation, new business creation, new products, and market development.
  • Contribute to the formulation of business development plans, operating plans and budgets in line with our strategic goals and objectives;
  • Work with the Directors and take lead in implementation of a variety of innovation initiatives including brand-led innovation, new business creation, new products, and strategic growth;
  • Determine
    the most appropriate route for commercialisation and progress the development of innovative products and services;
  • Carry out market research and market entry feasibility studies, in support of the assessment of the commercialisation potential of innovation; and
  • Identify challenges facing the company and develop appropriate improvement strategies.


    Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or related field; and
  • Professional qualification in the sales and marketing field
  • At least five (5) years business development and innovation management in the printing industry
  • Strong leadership skills with hands-on capability and management style with an ability to grow, support and develop talent within the company
  • Have good numeracy, problem analysis and reporting skills
  • Business acumen, strategic thinker with ability to make sound decisions for the business
