Adept Systems HR Operations – Payroll & Compensation Jobs in Kenya;The HR Operations Officer will oversee Payroll, Master Data Management and Business Intelligence (BI) functions within the HR department. The role ensures end‑to‑end payroll accuracy, integrity of HR master data, and leverages HR analytics to provide actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full‑cycle payroll processing for full‑time and casual employees.

  • Maintain and update HR master data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Drive adoption and effective use of HR tools and systems across the employee lifecycle.

  • Analyze payroll data and trends, providing reports and variance explanations.

  • Support contract management activities including renewals and documentation.

  • Maintain and safeguard employee files, ensuring privacy and accessibility.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly HR reports and analytics.

  • Coordinate HR projects and communicate payroll changes.

  • Facilitate statutory compliance processes, audits and reporting.

  • Manage employee separation procedures and ensure timely payroll documentation.

  • Verify statutory and payroll deduction details for compliance.

  • Draft payroll‑related documentation such as deduction letters and salary review communications.

  • Maintain records of attendance, bonuses and leave to
    support payroll preparation.

  • Administer employee benefits programmes including insurance policies.

    Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • Certification in Data Analytics (Power BI, SQL, Tableau or related tools).

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR operations, payroll or master data management (manufacturing/agribusiness experience an advantage).

  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and statutory deductions.

  • Proficiency in HR systems (ERPNext experience a plus).

  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
