Job Summary

Performs general medical services to patients of all ages and cases but do not typically specialize in a particular area. Treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients. Provide primary contact and continuous care toward the management of patient’s.

GPs will diagnose, treat, prescribe medication and manage a wide range of medical conditions. GPs usually the first doctor to consult any medical services. In General terms, Diagnosing, Examining, Consulting, Post-Surgery Follow-up, Health Education and Prevention, Referrals, Treatment Prescription, Administrative and Management Duties

Duties and Responsibilities

Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health

Prescribe and administer medications and treatments

Perform and assist in routine surgery

Provide emergency care

Provide acute care management

Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases

Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care

Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention

Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

Perform patient advocacy role

Coordinate or manage primary patient care

Provide continuous care to patients

Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authority

Collaboration with Nurses and other team.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Specification Requirement

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

BSc in Doctor of Medicine

3-5 years’ experience as General practitioner

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Good knowledge in Computer and good communication skill

Working Conditions

Work may require frequent weekend and evening work.
