Action Against Hunger Grant for a New Humanitarian Perspective – 1st Edition

Action Against Hunger Grant for a New Humanitarian Perspective – 1st Edition

The Action Against Hunger is offering a multimedia grant with the title of Grant for a New Humanitarian Perspective.

Its aim is to encourage reflection on the future of humanitarian imagery, with the participation of those involved, in order to imagine its future development together. In doing so, they hope to create a new perspective. A perspective that goes beyond the usual reproductions; that is fairer and more ethical; and that allows for a more balanced exchange with the people represented. This grant is intended as an opportunity to explore new narrative and iconographic procedures.

They invite anyone looking to submit a project to cut loose from assimilated conventions and to be creative and bold in order to feed collective reflections around the development of multimedia language in the humanitarian and social spheres.

As well as highlighting the work of photographers, videographers and content creators, this grant seeks to boost the visibility of the people they support – and of their experiences – in the places where Action Against Hunger operates.
