    Subject Matter Experts, Rwanda

  • ACDI/VOCA is seeking technical experts for an anticipated agriculture program in Rwanda funded by USAID. This activity will sustainably increase smallholder farmers’ income, improve the nutritional status of women and children, and increase the resilience of Rwanda’s agriculture market and food systems to a changing climate. The program is anticipated to start in late 2022 and these positions are envisioned to be based in Kigali, Rwanda.

    Responsibilities

    Career opportunities include the following positions:

  • Agribusiness development

  • Agronomy and value chain

  • Business Development Services

  • Nutrition sensitive agriculture and food systems

  • Access to finance

  • Gender and youth

  • Social & Behavior Change (SBC)

  • Learning and Knowledge Management

  • Communications

    Qualifications

  • While each position will have its own operational and technical scope under the activity, overall qualifications will meet the below:

  • Advanced degree in a field related to the specific technical discipline. (above)

  • Substantial experience in the related technical area, including in the private sector.

  • Experience with USAID and/or any other international donor-funded project preferred.

  • Rwandan nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
