Job Purpose / Objective:

Manage and optimize the production processes of pre-cast concrete elements used in road construction projects.
Ensure efficient manufacturing, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of pre-cast components to support seamless road construction activities.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient production processes for pre-cast concrete elements, ensuring maximum output with minimal waste.

• Quality Assurance: Monitor production to ensure that pre-cast elements meet quality specifications, design requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Resource Management: Manage workforce, equipment, and materials to achieve production targets and maintain smooth operations.

• Production Planning: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to align production schedules with project timelines.

• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and delays in production.

• Cost Control: Manage production costs, analyze cost drivers, and implement strategies to minimize expenses without compromising quality.

• Health and Safety: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for the production team.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control checks, and inventory levels.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and drive efficiency enhancements.

• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to production staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team.

• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Production Efficiency: Measuring the output of pre-cast elements per unit of time and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Quality Compliance: Ensuring that pre-cast elements meet design and quality specifications without defects.

• On-Time Delivery: Timely completion of pre-cast elements to support road construction schedules.

• Resource Utilization: Efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment to meet production targets.

• Cost Performance: Managing production costs within budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Safety Record: Maintaining a

safe workplace with minimal accidents or incidents.

• Process Improvement: Implementing process enhancements that increase production efficiency and quality.

• Inventory Management: Effective control of raw materials and finished pre-cast elements in the yard.

Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• Engineering Expertise: Strong knowledge of pre-cast concrete manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify production challenges and implement effective solutions.

• Quality Management: Understanding of quality control procedures and standards in pre-cast manufacturing.

• Leadership Abilities: Capable of leading and motivating a production team to achieve goals.

• Project Planning: Skill in aligning production schedules with project requirements.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

• Data Analysis: Analyzing production data to make informed decisions and improvements.

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in production processes and quality checks.

• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience at least 5 of them at a supervisory level.
