Job Purpose / Objective:

Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production of pre-cast concrete components.
Ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of pre-cast elements that contribute to road construction projects.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Operate machinery such as mixers, molds, and casting machines to produce pre-cast concrete components.

• Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure that pre-cast elements meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.

• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.

• Material Handling: Handle and transport raw materials such as concrete mix, reinforcing steel, and molds to support production.

• Efficiency Optimization: Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal production rates while minimizing waste and defects.

• Documentation: Maintain records of machine operation, production output, and any maintenance performed.

• Communication: Collaborate with fellow operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth production.

• Problem-Solving: Identify and address issues or malfunctions in machinery promptly to prevent production delays.

• Cleaning and Organization: Keep work area and equipment clean and organized for safe and efficient operations.

• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Production Efficiency: Measuring the quantity and quality of pre-cast elements produced within a given timeframe.

• Quality Compliance: Ensuring that pre-cast elements meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Safety Record: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and incidents.

• Machine Downtime: Minimizing equipment downtime through effective maintenance and quick issue resolution.

• Material Utilization: Efficient use of raw materials to minimize waste and optimize production.

• Communication Effectiveness: Collaborating smoothly

with fellow operators and supervisors.

• Equipment Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance and keeping equipment in optimal working condition.

• Documentation Accuracy: Maintaining accurate records of production activities and maintenance performed.

Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• Machine Operation Skills: Proficiency in operating production machinery and equipment.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pre-cast concrete manufacturing processes and equipment mechanics.

• Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.

• Quality Control: Ability to identify defects and ensure products meet quality standards.

• Maintenance Abilities: Skill in performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate measurements and precise equipment adjustments.

• Communication: Effective communication with fellow operators, supervisors, and maintenance staff.

• Problem-Solving: Capability to quickly identify and address equipment malfunctions.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, operate machinery, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic production environment.

• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience at least 5 of them at a supervisory level.
