Description

Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the pre-cast production process.
Ensures that production activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards, contributing to the timely delivery of pre-cast components for road construction projects.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Production Supervision: Oversee all pre-cast production activities, including molding, casting, curing, and demolding.

• Quality Control: Ensure that pre-cast elements meet design specifications and quality standards before they are transported to construction sites.

• Resource Allocation: Assign tasks to production workers, allocate resources effectively, and ensure smooth workflow.

• Health and Safety: Enforce safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and create a safe work environment.

• Training and Development: Train new workers on production processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

• Work Scheduling: Create work schedules, monitor progress, and adjust staffing as needed to meet production targets.

• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.

• Communication: Facilitate clear communication between production teams, management, and other stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Address production challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent delays.

• Documentation: Maintain records of production activities, quality checks, and inventory levels.

• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Production Efficiency: Measuring the quantity and quality of pre-cast elements produced within a given timeframe.

• Quality Compliance: Ensuring that pre-cast elements meet design specifications and quality standards.

• Safety Record: Maintaining a safe workplace with minimal accidents or incidents.

• On-Time Delivery: Timely completion of pre-cast elements to support road construction schedules.

• Resource Utilization: Efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment to meet production targets.

• Team Performance: Evaluating the effectiveness and productivity of the production team.

• Equipment Uptime:

Minimizing equipment downtime through effective maintenance and repairs.

• Inventory Management: Effective control of raw materials and finished pre-cast elements in the yard.

Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead, manage, and motivate production teams.

• Production Knowledge: Strong understanding of pre-cast concrete manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety protocols.

• Quality Control: Skill in conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

• Communication Abilities: Effective communication with team members, superiors, and other stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Capability to identify and address production challenges promptly.

• Planning and Organization: Skill in creating work schedules, allocating resources, and monitoring progress.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with production equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Leadership Qualities: Ability to guide and mentor production workers.

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in production processes and quality checks.

• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience at least 5 of them at a supervisory level.
