Roles and Responsibilities
*Manage all accounting transactions.
*Prepare budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other financial documents.
*Publish financial statements on time.
*Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly cost reports.
*Develop accounting reports.
*Lead debt collection efforts by ensuring prompt client payments.
*Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
*Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
*Ensure timely bank payments.
*Compute taxes and prepare tax returns within the required timelines.
*Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
*Audit financial transactions and documents.
*Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients.
*Resolve accounting discrepancies.
*Manage the petty cash system within the company.
*Ensure financial data confidentiality and conduct necessary database backups.
*Comply with financial policies and regulations.
*Participate in the tendering process.
