ABNO Softwares International Accountant Jobs in Kenya; The accountant is responsible for collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s financial records. They handle financial audits, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accurate financial documentation throughout the year under the guidance of the Senior Accountant.

Roles and Responsibilities

*Manage all accounting transactions.

*Prepare budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other financial documents.

*Publish financial statements on time.

*Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly cost reports.

*Develop accounting reports.

*Lead debt collection efforts by ensuring prompt client payments.

*Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

*Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

*Ensure timely bank payments.

*Compute taxes and prepare tax returns within the required timelines.

*Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.

*Audit financial transactions and documents.

*Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients.

*Resolve accounting discrepancies.

*Manage the petty cash system within the company.

*Ensure financial data confidentiality and conduct necessary database backups.

*Comply with financial policies and regulations.

*Participate in the tendering process.

Skills and Experience

*Bachelor’s degree or diploma in

Accounting or Finance.

*CPA (Certified Public Accountant) - CPA (K) certification is an added advantage.

*2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

*Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and iTax.

*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

*Familiarity with cost analysis, taxation, and financial reporting.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

*Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

*Critical, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.#
