Job Description

Job Purpose:

Under direction from the Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor, stores, identifies & preserves finished goods; manages finished goods store & dispatch and logistics movements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives finished products

Prepares report of quantities of finished goods received from production and complete daily counts to verify the accuracy

Maintains an accurate inventory of finished goods

Stocks finished goods in assigned locations while adjusting locations as needed

Organizes the finished goods in the store according to the proper storage conditions of each.

Secures all the finished goods in the store

Assures the security of the store

Facilitate in loading and unloading trucks for prompt delivery and to assure proper amount and requested items are loaded

Interfaces with others to resolve daily problems

Keep warehouse neat, orderly, and organized

Maintain the stores area in a neat and orderly manner

Fill supply requisitions / prepare stock card

Report, document, track, justify and resolve discrepancies regarding deliveries

Job Requirements

Qualification:

TVET Level III in Procurement and Supply Management, and Accounting or some other related filled of study

Work Experience:

2 years of experience in store management

Skill and Ability:

Learn and apply proper methods and practices used in ordering, receiving, shipping, and storing a verity of materials, supplies, tools and equipment; learn to distinguish and identify specific types of materials, supplies, and equipment.

Computer Skills:

Computer literate
