Job Description

Basic Functions

Performing and managing process quality inspection against the standard and enforcing the operations team for immediate correction before the final product released out.

Checking of the product at final gate and making corrective action. Meeting State and Local regulatory standard and timely rectifying of Audit findings with preventive action. Implementing procedures, standards and specifications aimed at company’s product quality goals.

Developing initiatives to improve the situation for short term and medium term strategically plans. Making right and spot decisions in liaise with immediate supervisor and plant manager when disputes created.

Working closely with the team for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and documenting of quality standards.

Establishing of Quality Manual and guiding the staff according to this document. Developing and training of your subordinates time to time to meet the quality standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitoring that plant operation, products are consistently produced within plant and beverage industry standards.
  • Developing written procedures and quality manual for quality control/quality assurance;
  • Performing needed tests on sample and in the laboratory to ensure conformity of beverage and works according to the specifications
  • Supervising the factory works including quantity measurement, quality, variation and correction
  • Establishing and maintaining procedures to develop, Quality Manual, Standard documentation; and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for quality control and assurance

  • Making right and spot decisions in liaise with immediate supervisor and plant manager when disputes created.
  • Performing the implementation of quality control and assurance systems and procedures throughout all plant operations.
  • Liaising with
    local health, Municipality Food Control section, customers, governmental officials and inspectors for the purpose of plant evaluation and auditing.
  • Following-up on the implementation of all corrective action as a result of an ISO, HACCP and Municipality audits.
  • Conducting raw materials suppliers audits and follow up their action plan to comply with the specifications
  • Performing timely calibration routines for all lab equipment, line gauges and other critical measuring equipment
  • Ensuring the safe operating conditions throughout processing and laboratory operations and good housekeeping, GHK & GMP in place.
  • Attending and reviewing all product complains from sales department and customers
  • Reviewing and maintaining Quality Assurance manuals, certificate of Analysis and all other QA documents
  • Doing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reporting regarding Quality activities
  • Participating in all internal, external, third party audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Developing of your subordinates time to time to meet the quality standard.
  • Training employees on the importance of hygiene, personal protective equipment’s and cleaning.
  • Supervising of subordinates in the implementation of the work;
  • Performing any other duty activities as deemed necessary by respective immediate boss.

    Qualification:

  • BSc in Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field in a recognized College/University

    Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor/managerial post in Food and Beverage industry or related fields.
