A Public Entity Pricing Analyst Jobs in Kenya

A Public entity seeks to till a vacant position as under:

Pricing Analyst, GRADE 6 (1 POSITION ON CONTRACT TERMS) Reporting to the Head of Section, the successful candidate will be assisting in setting, re-viewing and adjusting sector tariffs, determining prices and monitoring and evaluating competition in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

Implement an effective monitoring and evaluation system to facilitate in-depth analysis of instances of non-compliance;

Coordinate continuous financial reporting as well as timely review of financial returns;

Setting, review and adjustment of tariffs and tariff structures in the sector;

Monitoring and evaluation of the status of competition in the sector;

Analyze statutory trading arrangements;

Develop and review sector accounting and tariff codes; and

Maintain oversight on sector operations with a view to enforcing fair play and competition.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Econometrics, an Applied Economics Discipline, Finance or Business Studies, from a recognized university or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Proficiency in Computer applications skills, Analytical thinker, interpersonal and communication skills and a team player

Mandatory Requirements
