  • Our client, a leading Security Company wishes to recruit an Operations Manager who will be reporting to the Chief of Operations.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Prepare the Departmental Budget and control expenditure

  • Manage the profit and loss account of the branches and Manned Guarding and K9 Services

  • Liaise with the finance department in the costing of contracts

  • Implement the credit control policy in conjunction with the Finance department

    Customer Perspective

  • Implement the customer service policy in conjunction with the business development and customer experience department

  • Provide a courteous and efficient service to both internal and external customers

  • Sustain and support existing business as well as attracting new business

    Business Process

  • Ensure proper usage and safe custody of departmental or company property.

  • Visit the scene of crime and make appropriate observations and brief senior managers.

  • Lead and manage regional branches so as to ensure sustainability and growth

  • Manage the human resources within the department in terms of discipline, performance management etc

  • Establish, implement and review procedures, protocol and standards of performance

  • Ensure security surveys, SOPs SLAs and audits are conducted in accordance to the respective standards.

  • Initiate and develop departmental strategic and business plans in line with the company objectives/vision

  • Gather intelligence reports and disseminate relevant information to the senior management team

  • Direct and control all the activities of the Department

  • Provide advice
    on matters related to the operations of the Department

    Learning and Growth

  • Identify the learning & training needs of all staffs

  • Develop performance targets and ensure that they are met

  • Foster mutual interest and encourage teamwork within the department.

  • Appraise staff performance and recommend desirable development

    Person Profile

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Studies, or a relevant field. Masters Degree as an added advantage.

  • [Training: Certification in security management such as ISMI Certified Security Management professional (CSMP), ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Experience: 7-9 years security working experience and 3 years in responsible charge of a private security function.

  • Skills: Finance, People, excellent Communication skills, Networking, Negotiating, Attention to detail, Analytical, Leadership skills, Good listening skills, critical thinking, interpersonal, humility and integrity, excellent work ethic

  • Membership: International Private Security Association or related
