A & J Global Senior Registration & Compliance Officer Jobs in Kenya; Our client, operating within the Pension Fund sector in the East African region, is looking to fill key positions to join a team dedicated to delivering client centric services aligned with its strategic goals and plans for the next five years and beyond. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, candidates must be prepared to take on vital roles defined by the policies and frameworks established to fulfill the organization’s core mandate.

An officer at this level will work under the supervision of a more senior officer.

a) Duties and responsibilities

A. Registration & Compliance

(i) Registration of employers, employees and voluntary contributors;

(ii) Validating employer returns and generating Unique Payment Numbers for receipting;

(iii) Conducting member education on the importance of registering and benefits of the Fund;

(iv) Maintaining and ensuring safe custody of registration records;

(v) Ensuring proper receipting of claims from documentation section, sorting and batching for awarding into the system;

(vi) Verifying benefits claims to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation;

(vii) Verifying claims in system to determine amounts payable and bank details of payee(s);

(viii) Generating payment information reports and filing in claim files;

(ix) of payment information details, endorsement and dispatch claims to

the authorization section through the system; and

(x) Responding to customer’s enquiries and complaints


a) Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

(i) Served cumulative service period of six (6) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of Benefits Administration Officer I or a comparable position;

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution

(iii) Membership to a professional body and in good standing;

(iv) Proficiency in computer applications;

(v) Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution

(vi) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
