Youth Vocational Training Program Jobs

Location: Kenya

The European Union and Kindernothilfe e.V are supporting project entitled Poverty Reduction among Vulnerable Youths through an empowered vocational training in Nairobi slums and Laikipia East District.

The available job opportunities now include:

Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in social sciences from a recognized University, or in related fields with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years experience managing youth development projects.
  • Proven experience in managing multi portfolio projects.
  • Experience with EU funded projects rules, regulations and reporting requirements will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong coordination, reporting, communication and excellent computer skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a small but complex highly computerized organization.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in project teams’ context.
  • The position is based in Nairobi with frequent field travels.
