The Saab Systems Scholarship

This Scholarship has been established by Saab Systems Pty Ltd to encourage and assist students in completing a degree in Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.

The scholarship will be awarded to students in their second year of a Bachelor degree in Engineering, in the areas of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Software Engineering; the degree of Bachelor of Computer Science, or the degree of Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide.

Eligibility:

Selection for this scholarship will be made according to academic merit based on the cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) for the preceding year, and qualities of character and leadership.

The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered; acceptance of the Scholarship offer cannot be deferred.

If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.

Award:

The value of the scholarship is $6,000 over the period of the scholarship.

The scholarship shall be tenable for up to four years following confirmation of enrolment at the census dates (usually 31 March and 31 August) to assist with educational costs.

The scholarship also includes access to a mentor who will be a Saab employee and the opportunity of paid work experience at the end of the third year of study.
