The Innovation Fund for Agriculture and Agri-business

The Innovation Fund for Agriculture & Agri-business is pleased to announce the Round 2 Call inviting the submission of project concept notes.

The Innovation Fund will award grants to support innovation in agriculture and agri-business.

Maximum amount for grants is Kenya Shillings five (5) million, and implementation period should be not more than two years.

The innovation must be technically feasible, commercially viable and must take into account the functionality of the specific value chain.

Organizations interested in accessing the Innovation Fund must submit a brief concept note (in the required format), setting out in brief the project idea being proposed.

Project concepts will be screened and those applications that are accepted will be asked to submit a full project proposal.

Eligibility:

Registered CBOs, NGOs and Self Help Groups, farmer growers associations, co‐operatives and enterprises.

Applying organizations must be in existence for at least one year.
