Ministry for the Development of Northern Kenya and other Arid Lands tenedr Notice of Contruction of Development Projects.

The ministry of the Development of Northern Kenya and other Arid Lands invites sealed tenders from eligible contractors for contruction of the follwing projects:

TENDER NO. MDONK 2/09-2010.

Contruction of hostels and classrooms at Lodwar Medical Training Centre (MTC), Turkana District.

TENDER NO. MDONK 3/09-2010.

Contruction of boarding primary school at Tolorokwonin, Baringo District.

TENDER NO. 4/09-2010.

Contruction of boarding primary school at Qorqa Site, Marsabit, Marsabit District.

TENDER NO. 5/09-2010.

Contruction of a girl's secondary school at Galmagalla, Fafi, Garissa District.

Detailed tender documents can be obtained from the drought Management Office (DMO), situated at the District headquarters in Lodwar Baringo, Marsabit, Laikipia and Garissa, respectively, upon payment of a non refundable fee of Ksh. 3000/= per set, at the cash cash office of the respective District headquarters, in the form of cash or bankers' cheque, payment to the Drought Management Officer, Ministry for Development of Northern Kenya and Other Arid Lands.

To be eligible, bidders must be registered with the Ministry of Public works, as building contractors under class F or above, and proof of this should be provied.

Application Deadline: 16th November.

Tenders will be opened thereafter, in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend the respective Drought Management Offices in the above districs.

The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any tender either in part or wholly and is not bound to give reasons for the decision.

Completed tender documents in plin sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender reference may be sent to one of the follwoing offices.
