Study Nutritionist Kenya - Columbia University

International Centre for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP) - Kenya

Location: Kenya (2 vacancies available. Kerugoya and Nyahururu)

Closing date: 20 Jun

The study nutritionist will oversee all nutritional aspects of the study.

Responsibilities:

To assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the study

To perform informed consent process

To conduct patient interviews and complete nutritional questionnaires and anthropometric measurements

To perform standardized nutritional counseling

To assist in timely collection of accurate data

To make visits to patient households

To help train facility and study personnel on nutritional aspects of the study

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in nutrition

At least 3 years experience as Clinical Nutritionist

Computer literacy

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with a multidisciplinary team

Prior experience in a clinical study and methodology helpful

Live in proximity to clinical study site helpful

Experience with food frequency questionnaires and consenting patients helpful.
