Postgraduate Scholarships by Distance Learning:

The MSc is offered via distance leering with online support, as well as residential teaching workshops with the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The programme is designed for veterinary and other animal health specialists working in disease control and prevention.

Scholarship Entry Requirements:

To study the MSc, students must have either a second class honours degree, or the equivalent, in a scientific subject, veterinary, animal science, agriculture, zoology science or medicine, or a second class honours degree, or the equivalent, in a scientific discipline, which has, in the opinion of the University, included suitable training.

English Language Requirements:

  • All applicants must provide evidence of their English language ability.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English must provide documentary evidence that they have, no more than three years prior to the application, either been educated or worked in English for a minimum of 18 months, or passed a test of English proficiency.
