PhD or PostDoc Scholarship, University of Leoben, Austria

The objective of this strategic research project is;

- to combine simulations of solidification with those of deformation/forming and

- to combine simulations of solidification with those of heat treatment/fatigue.

Such links will close the existing gaps of the numerical production chain description for cylinder heads, crankshafts and hot working tools.

The work will be conducted in the frame of the K2-COMET programme (Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies) in Austria
