Masters in Sanitary Engineering Scholarships; 30 MSc scholarships in Sanitary Engineering are funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and will be awarded to students who wish to study the MSc programme in Municipal Water and Infrastructure, in one of the following specializations:

  • Sanitary Engineering Specialization at UNESCO-IHE in The Netherlands

This is approximately half of the estimated costs of study towards a Masters in Sanitary Engineering (including tuition fees as well as living expenses, travel costs, accommodation etc.).

Provision of the remaining fund is the responsibility of the applicant and its exact amount depends on the choice of specialization.

Consequently, the foundation scholarships are only accessible for applicants who have already secured or who are about to secure the remaining matching funds.

The MSc programmes start each year in October.

It is important to note that the application deadline for joint double-degree specializations is 1 May, and for the Delft-based specialization, 1 August.

Early applications will be given preference.
