Masters Scholarships in Optics: A total of 24 Masters Scholarships in Optics are given each year for study in the following universities:

  • Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands
  • Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany
  • Imperial College London, The United Kingdom
  • Université Paris-Sud 11 and Institut d’Optique Graduate School*, Paris, France
  • Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.

    Each grant is worth € 21,000 per year and is given for two years.

    Applicants should have a BSc or BEng comprising significant exposure to physics and optics fundamentals.

    Other criteria to be taken into account are awards, external references, details of earlier projects, and proof of English proficiency.

    Application deadline for Non-European Union students applying for a grant is January 31st.
