MPhil in Micro and Nanotechnology Enterprise, University of Cambridge

Applications are invited from students with backgrounds in the physical or biological sciences for this course which is delivered in a collaboration between the Departments of Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering and Physics, with contributions from the Judge Institute of Management Studies.

The programme combines an in-depth multidisciplinary scientific programme with a global perspective on the commercial opportunities and business practice necessary for successful exploitation.

This one year Master's degree provides an unparalleled education experience for entrepreneurs in the rapidly developing fields of nanotechnology and micro electromechanical systems.

It will be particularly attractive to those with some postgraduate experience in an industrial or business environment and who are enthusiastic about enterprise and innovation.

Students will be based in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy but will attend some programmes in other parts of the University, particularly the Judge Institute of Management Studies.

An upper second class degree or equivalent is the minimum academic requirement for entry.

Studentships may be available for eligible candidates.
