Location: Uganda.

MOGAS is integrated downstream oil marketing in East & Central Africa with business operations spanning from terminal operations to retail networks and lubrication services.

They seek to recruit for the position of:

General Manager Specialist – Regional position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall leadership in specialties line of business (LOB) at group level.
  • Develop marketing strategies for products under the specialties LOB in line with the group medium and long-term goals.
  • Oversee specialty products development and inventory rationalization.
  • Between 35-40 years of age.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to motivate, develop and influence others.
  • Relevant experience for at least 12 years of which at least 5 years should have been in senior managerial positions.
  • First degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from a recognized and reputable university. Postgraduate qualifications will be of added advantage.
  • Develop and manage company relationships with lubricants technology partners and other specialties LOB business partners.
  • Where applicable, oversee local lubricants production and quality assurance. Applications from suitably qualified candidates should be submitted to:
