KASNEB Exam Timetable – Examination Dates CPA, ATD, DICT, DCM, CPS, CICT, CIFA, CCP, ATC, ICTT, IST FAQ, FSQ, CMT, APS-K, CPSP-K

EXAMINATIONS NOTICE - NOVEMBER 2017 EXAMINATIONS

Students of kasneb, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions and other stakeholders are hereby notified of the following important dates and information.

1. EXAMINATION DATES

The examination dates for the November 2017 examinations are as follows:

(a) Monday, 27 November 2017 and Tuesday, 28 November 2017

(i) Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) Levels I, II and III
(ii) Diploma in Information Communication Technology (DICT) Levels I, II and III
(iii) Diploma in Credit Management (DCM) Levels I, II and III

(b) Monday, 27 November 2017 to Friday, 1 December 2017

(i) Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Parts I, II and III
(ii) Certified Secretaries (CS) Parts I, II and III
(iii) Certified Information Communication Technologists (CICT) Parts I, II and III
(iv) Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA) Parts I, II and III
(v) Certified Credit Professionals (CCP) Parts I, II and III

(c) Wednesday, 29 November 2017 and Thursday, 30 November 2017

Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ)

(d) Wednesday, 29 November 2017

Foreign Secretaries Qualifications (FSQ)

(e) Monday, 27 November 2017 to Wednesday, 29 November 2017

Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K) Levels I and II

Note: Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from the employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations.

2. CLOSING DATES

The closing dates for late registration, normal examination entry and late examination entry for the November 2017 examinations are as shown below:

(a) Late registration - Tuesday, 15 August 2017
(b) Normal examination entry - Tuesday, 15 August 2017
(c) Late examination entry - Saturday, 30 September 2017

3. QUALIFICATIONS BROCHURE

The qualifications brochure can be downloaded from the kasneb website www.kasneb.or.ke. The qualifications brochure may also be obtained from the following sources free of charge:

(a) The offices of kasneb.
(b) kasneb counters at Huduma Centres in Kibera-Nairobi, GPO-Nairobi, Makadara-Nairobi, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nyeri, Meru, Mombasa and Nakuru.
(c) Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) branches countrywide.
(d) Training institutions offering kasneb courses.

4. METHOD OF PAYMENT OF FEES

(a) Payment through ekasneb

Students are advised to download the ekasneb app on Google playstore and pay through the ekasneb wallet. Students may also access ekasneb on the student’s portal through the kasneb website www.kasneb.or.ke.

A detailed guide regarding this mode of payment may be obtained from the kasneb website.

(b) Payment through bank fee collection accounts

Students are advised to pay fees through the kasneb fee collection accounts in any branch of the following banks:

(i) KCB Bank Ltd. - Account No.1203681194.
(ii) National Bank of Kenya Ltd - Account No.01001031572601.
(iii) Equity Bank Ltd. - Account No.0170299238025.
(iv) Kenya Post Office Savings Bank (Postbank) - Account No.0744130009246.
(v) Co-operative Bank of Kenya Ltd. - Account No.01129128535900.

(c) Payment through Postapay at kasneb counters in Huduma Centres

Students are advised to pay fees at the following Huduma Centres:

GPO-Nairobi, Kibera-Nairobi, Makadara-Nairobi, Nyeri, Meru, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kisii, Eldoret and Nakuru.

Students are advised that payment of fees in cash at kasneb Towers was phased out with effect from 1 July 2017.

5. Students are advised that result notifications are not required in order to enter the examinations. All students who sat for the May 2017 examinations should therefore ENTER for the November 2017 examinations immediately they confirm their May 2017 examination results whether through SMS or kasneb website.

6. All continuing students of kasneb are required to renew their annual registration by 1 July of each year. New students are advised to note that the registration renewal fee is due on 1 July following the first eligible examination sitting and annually thereafter.

KASNEB will now be releasing its KASNEB Exam Timetable online through your students portal. Students are encouraged to acquaint themselves with the Students portal, a place where almost all communication will be channeled to the students by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board.

Candidates who had not created an account on the student portal are required to do so in order to access KASNEB Exam Timetable as follows:

KASNEB Examination Timetable

Candidates who had not created an account on the student portal are required to do so in order to access KASNEB Exam Timetable as follows:

On the website click on the student login link then choose the student icon or proceed to click the student icon if you use the direct link online.kasneb.or.ke to the student portal.

Click on create account and select whether you have Student Registration Number or not and proceed to provide names, preferred email address and a strong password (which will be used for future access to self information) and click save.

Provide the email address and password used when creating the account and click unlock to login in.

Select the “Registration Details” tab.

Access the “Course Choice” tab.

Select the examination from the dropdown box, click on the “Yes” checkbox and provide the registration number without the prefix (e.g. if your registration number is NAC/68148, provide 68148 as the registration number) and click save.

Select the “KASNEB Exam Timetable” tab.

Click on “print” to print the pdf version or “Send to email” to send to your email address.

Candidates who already have an account should proceed from step 3 above to access the KASNEB Exam Timetable
