Invitation to Bid: Internet Service Provider

Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) with the support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other sponsors seeks an Internet Service Provider (ISP) for its operations in Kenya and Southern Sudan, specifically, Nairobi, Juba, Malakal, Wau, and Rumbek.

Furthermore, EDC would like to use voice over internet technology to provide telephone service between the locations listed, and telephone (mobile or landlines) "outside" the network. EDC intends to enter into a long term agreement for these services of at least 30 to 36 months, with possible extensions.

This is an invitation to request the bid document, and not the actual bid document.

EDC invites Internet Service Providers to request the complete Request for Proposals by:

Those requesting will receive the Request for Proposals by return e mail within two business days of receipt.

All communication with EDC must be in writing, no telephone calls or meetings.

There is no relationship between the prospective bidder and USAID under the Invitation to bid, the full Request for Proposal, or any resultant contract.

Prospective bidders must direct all communications regarding the invitation to bid, the full Request for Proposal, and any resultant contract to EDC.
