Invitation of Bids for the Contruction of a Vocational Training Center

Norwegian people's Aid (NPA) has received a Grant from USAID through Mercy Corps under the Building Responsibility for the Delivery of Governement Services (BRIDGE), with the intetion to apply part of this Grant to payments under the Contract for the construction of The Marban Vocational Center Project No. NPA/BRIDGE-MoE SAN 31360-001/09.

Norwegian Peoples Aid now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for The Maban Vocational Training Center.

The Construction of the center include,

• Carpentry and Masonry Workshops,
• Classrooms,
• Mens' Dormitory,
• Ladies' Domitory,
• Students' Cafeteria,
• Staffs' houses,
• Staffs' Cafeteria,

Bidders are asked to note that these are drawings and plans for phase 1.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competetive Bidding(ICB) procedures and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below from 9:00hrs to 17.00hrs on working days. Beginning 1st October.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of 200 US$. The method of payment shall be cash.

Application deadline: 2.00pm on November 10th.

All Bids should be sealed and will be physically opened in the presence of all bidders on 14th November 2.00pm at The Conference Hall, Norgwegian Peoples Aid, Hai Jalab Area South Sudan.

All Bids will be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a form of a Bank Guarantee in a fre convertible currency equivalent to 30, 000 US$
