Location: Kenya.

Intex Construction is a leading Civil Engineering and infrastructure Company in Kenya. The following vacant positions are available in the company:

1. Project Manager PM OII

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering and a diploma in project/construction management from recognized institutions.
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • At least 12 years relevant experience in construction of roads and bridges of which 8 years should be in a senior management position.
  • Must be a Registered Engineer from a recognized Institute of Engineers Board.
  • Be self driven and possess excellent interpersonal communication and sound management skills while demonstrating a passion for performance and achievement in a competitive environment.
  • Be computer literate and aware of current technological trends for the construction Industry.
  • Must be willing to travel and work at our various construction sites.

    2. Site Project Manager SPM 011

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering and a diploma in project/construction management from recognized institutions.
  • More than 10 years postgraduate experience, with experience in managing construction aspects of major multidisciplinary projects involving reinforced concrete in structures, embankment construction and construction of works spread in a linear manner over a considerable.
  • Previous experience of construction work on roads, bridges is essential.
  • Computer literacy: candidate should be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Projects. etc).

    3. Quarry Foreman QF 011

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Mining or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience.
  • Relevant certificates in blasting will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in mining and drilling and preventive maintenance.

    4. Asphalt Foreman AF-011

    Qualifications:

  • Must be a well qualified Asphalt Engineer.
  • Minimum 5- 8 years working experience in an Asphalt site.
