International Travel Photography Awards

TPOTY is run by photographers for photographers, judged by renowned photography experts, and provides amazing prizes, including foreign travel, the latest photographic equipment and photography tuition.

International Travel Photography Awardsof the Year (TPOTY) awards were created by photographer, Chris Coe, with the initial objective of providing an international showcase for travel photography and travelling photographers in order to celebrate the very best in travel photography.

TPOTY offers international exposure, through the TPOTY Journey books and our exhibitions.

TPOTY has helped many photographers - not just the winners - raise their profile, sell their work, get commissions or launch photographic careers.

Entry is open to anyone except those directly involved in the organisation and judging.

Any photographer, amateur and professional, aged 17 years and over from any country can enter the three Portfolio categories and the One Shot category.

The New Talent, First Shot and Young travel Photographer of the Year categories all have restrictions on entry as follows:

New Talent is for photographic students, amateur or semi-professional photographers only.

Professional photographers are not eligible to enter this category and photographic status will be checked before any prizes are awarded.

First Shot category is for amateur photographers only.

Young Travel Photographer of the Year is for photographers aged 16 and under.

There are magnificent prizes for the overall winner, and for the winner and second, third and fourth-placed entrants in each category.
