In country partners - Vietnam, Kenya, and Liberia

International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) in Washington DC is looking for in-country partners Vietnam, Kenya, and Liberia with strong research as well as M&E expertise to work on a World Bank project.

With funding from the World Bank's GIF (Gender Innovation Fund), ICRW, the Bank and UNIFEM are implementing and evaluating a series of quick impact initiatives.

The Results Based Initiatives (RBIs) project will consist of the implementation and evaluation of innovative activities focused on women's economic empowerment.

More specifically, it will implement between six and twelve innovative projects and measure the results.

Examples of potential RBIs are:

  • low cost renewable energy provision and services for rural women;
  • access to finance, and financial and business services;
  • labor intermediation services and traineeship programs and so forth.
