This research program is a collaboration of Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR); International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI); and the Animal Breeding and Genomics centre of Wageningen University, and is funded by the Koepon Foundation.
The PhD student will focus on the genetic aspects of the projects, be employed at EIAR and enrolled as PhD student at Wageningen University and will spend approximately 2 years in Ethiopia and two years in Wageningen.
