Ibrahim Shihata Fellowships: As a tribute to the late Professor Ibrahim Shihata, Director General of the OPEC Special Fund, Senior Vice-president of the World Bank and General Counsel, Secretary General of ICSID and Professor of International Economic Law in the CEPMLP International Business Transactions Programme, the Centre has established a number of Ibrahim Shihata Fellowships:

Value: £4,000 per fellowship

Fellowship Application Eligibility Critria:

Open to full-time prospective International Business Transactions/International Dispute Resolution and Management LLM students of all nationalities for each academic year.

Selection Criteria:

  • Possession of a formal offer of admission to LLM in International Business Transactions or the LLM in International Dispute Resolution and Management.
  • Evidence of funding for the balance of the tuition fee and living expenses

    How to Apply:

    Students must register their interest when applying for admission by attaching a brief statement (max 250 words) explaining why they think they should be considered for the fellowship.

    Awards:

    The Director of the Centre will select the successful candidates. All applicants will be informed, in writing, of the Director’s decision, which is final and binding, two months before the start of semester.
