IFUWA Women’s Scholarships

Conditions:

Amy Rustomjee International Scholarship, WGU Mumbai

Number: One per year.

Purpose: Scholarship for advanced research

Eligibility: Open to women with post-graduate degrees and proof of ability to carry out research in Mumbai, India.

Recipient is provided free accommodation and partially free board in the Women Graduates Union's hostel for working women.

In addition a small cash stipend is provided. The award does not cover travel or any other incidental expenses.

Sarojini Naidu Memorial Scholarship, UWA Delhi

Purpose:

Scholarship for post-graduate study or research in Delhi, to encourage foreign scholars to undertake a course of study on Indian culture and women's development.

Eligibility:

Women graduates of recognized foreign universities, who have obtained admission to study or research at the post-graduate level in the University of Delhi , Jamia Millia Islamia University or Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India.

An applicant must be a member of a National Federation or Association, or an independent member, of the IFUW.

Course:

Any course or discipline bearing a special reference to India and Women's studies.

Application deadline: December 31 (and every third year thereafter).

Scholarship Amount: Rs. 30,000/-

To be granted only on receiving proof of admission to University of Delhi , Jamia Millia Islamia University or Jawaharlal Nehru University, for study or research work at the post-graduate level.
